Advise From a Reader

Today I got back to writing after a long time. Managed to write about 500 words in half an hour bringing my current total up to twenty six thousand, six hundred and ninety five (26,695). Not much past the halfway point which I reached a little over a month ago. Progress is slow, but I have enough ideas in mind to keep going.

The best part of my writing today was that I got some unexpected advise from a reader in my target demographic. Lucky me... I've got a qualified critic right in my home!

I better get this story out of my head and onto the page before my reader is out of the house. Now that's motivation... 

Getting Close... to the Halfway Mark

My steady progress is paying off. By writing whenever I get some time I have managed to write another 3200 words and I am almost to the halfway point of the NaNoWriMo target. Of course it is now the end of two Mos, but who's counting?

The other thing I am starting to realize is that when I get to 50000 words I might not have finished my story and may have to write another 50000 word novel to finish up.
